Jude's school had a Grandparents day today and we had to bring a plate of eats, so I decided to attempt rainbow, jelly oranges. It was fun to make, but I won't be doing it again in a hurry haha, plus I discovered I had a cut on my finger after cutting the first orange, which got numb after the 6th orange haha. It turned out to be a hit and almost all the kids had one on their plate. Nice to see :)

Went to the women's expo on Sunday and found out we weren't allowed any cameras :( So afterwards we went to this really vintage coffee shop that was mix and match with an old fashioned vibe. Loved it. So I acted like a real tourist and took some pics of the plc.

Little lamps everywhere.
Funky lighting.
Ppl laying outside on the grass area.
More lamps.
Me.
Milkshakes served in milk bottles.
When you plc and order you take a flag of a country for your table so they know where you are.
My drink - loving feijoa lately.
Cute kids menu.
Vintage spoons with your coffee.

Friday night while the guys watched rugby, we got stuck in to 2 rounds of scrabble which included cake, chips, coffee and laughter. Lots of fun!

Marchelle's Nigella choc cake, the most moist, chocolatey, delicious cake I've ever had!!!
My aunt got an Ipad2 that came with her new  bed she bought, which came in handy for a few things like reading a story to Jude before bed and then as a dictionary for Scrabble. Yes I want!
Enjoying some Scrabble.
My letters. Q is always handy.

Sitting at the table with my boy having lunch. I tried grapes and yogurt for the first time today and it was YUM - will be having that again!

Funny boy.

It was a beautiful day here in Christchurch and I spent most of it playing outside with my gorgeous boy.
