My week in pics...and some.

I forgot to share a while ago - that for Christmas I got a beautiful table-cloth from SA Mr Price Home. I put it on the table not long ago and it makes me happy every time I look at it :)

Last weekend we went to a lovely placed called Pegasus and the boys went Kayaking, then afterwards, they played in the water and Jude was being rather brave jumping off into the water.

Jude getting ready to paddle out

My Mr Handsome in the bath with a lolly in his mouth - hehe.
I'm going to miss these times, chatting to Jude in the bath while he plays with his toys.

My mom and her babies. ChiChi and LuLu.

Lots of baking these holidays. Jude asked me specifically to take pics of these cupcakes for him. cute.

Organised Jude's play area today - he seemed to use it more now that he knows where everything is. The bonus about holidays...is staying in your pjs all day with unbrushed hair hehe.
And me... just to show you how awesome I look at the end of the day with messy hair, no make up and bushy eyebrows - being a REAL woman! hehe.

My week in pics...

I made stuffed potatoes for the first time and I loved it - I also loved the way it looked, hence the pic. Made the potatoes until they were soft then fried bacon and mushrooms - scooped out the potato and added it to the mushroom and bacon, along with creamy white sauce - then re-filled the potatoes with the mixture - topped it with feta cheese and spring onion and baked until potato was crispy - Oh yeah!
So it seems like it was dog week for me... This is my uncle's dog Gypsy (pug) - she LOVES soft toys - she eats them until there is nothing left. This is her holding a bunny - so cute!!!
This is my Mr during the holidays - buzz wings with his backpack, he's worn it for a whole week now. Even today. This is him eating lunch while watching tv. hehe.

This is my cuz and aunt - they found a bargain - 1 for 2 hehe. I actually think I might fit into that dress - oh well haha.

We went to an opening of a pet store- there were lots of dogs there - I got a pic of this huge dog  -so fluffy and cute.

My mom's precious child had a bath this week - I was there to help (or take pics) - this is ChiChi - he's nearly 6 yrs old and he's teeny weeny.
One of my fav lunches since living in NZ is sweet chilli tuna and lettuce on toast - my mom introduced me to this. Plus its healthy.

This is my moms other baby - who is mine too. LuLu. She's a real nervous dog and shakes easily. I bathed her after ChiChi and she clung on to my arm - so cute. This is me drying her. She did however go crazy running around once she was dry :)

Jude had his friend over today and they played so well together - I caught them in the act. So adorable!

So I'm busy preparing myself to organize my bedroom this weekend and I decided to take pics of some things that I got for Christmas. I really think I got way too spoiled but I really appreciate it!!!

So it's the first time I've ever got perfume as a gift - I actually chose the DKNY Pure for hubby to get me as it's one of my favorite smells! and then to my surprise my aunt had also got me perfume - Marc Jacobs. I love the bottle with flowers and bonus that I love the scent too!

I have a cushion addiction (I must confess) So when I got these cushions for Christmas I was so excited! The brown one is from my mom and the blue one is from my sisters in SA, from one of my fav shops - Mr Price Home! yay. The blue is perfect because that's the accent color I want to add to my room :)

I also got this beautiful hook from my sisters as well - another Mr Price home gift - I've ended up using it for my necklaces and it looks so pretty in my room :)

My sister Calley got me this gorgeous Signature brush set - she's always moaning that I don't have brushes for my very minimal make up hehe, so she got me this - which I love! and I love that it comes with a bag too. Thanks Cal!

I also got a Billabong purse from my mom - I do love Billabong and I love this purse!
Inside view of the purse - it has the zip on top which is super easy when having to pay - no awkward buttons and flaps etc... me loves :)

My week in pics...

So I have been hunting for a drink bottle with cherry blossoms on it (that I saw a while ago) and no such luck. So the morning before I went to work - Jude surprised me with a drink bottle that he made with cherry blossoms on. Is this not the sweetest thing you have ever seen!!!

While shopping I saw these Mr & Mrs Claus ornaments and they were on sale for $4.99 buy one get one free. Can't wait to use them at the end of the year :)

I wish I had taken a before pic - but I cleaned up our front entrance (which was a mess) and we added a hook for coats and a shoe rack. Now I don't mind walking into my house hehe.
I got given this love cork board set for Christmas by my cuz Marchelle and I am loving it above my computer - especially for Jude's pictures :) Oh and I got a beautiful South African calender from my sister Rachel in SA. Now I can remember dates. yay :)
I got a new phone cover that I ordered and I love it!!!

And lastly - my sister bought Jude a huge roll of paper and he has been loving it! We already drew his body shape and he's been drawing tracks for his car.

We went on a gorgeous boat cruise on a gorgeous sunny day - which left us with crystal blue water and amazing wildlife - like dolphins (smallest dolphins in the world), penguins and seals. I only managed to capture the dolphins and recorded the rest. What a wonderful time we had...

Caves.
Family time.

Elephant rock.
Dolphins swimming next to the boat.
Me and my gorgeous mom.

Fish a chips by the sea - oh yeah.

Family time.

My week in pics...

On new years eve, we went to an event in Hagley Park. From 6.30pm to 8.30pm they had the event for the kiddies, there were only kids performing and singing etc... was adorable - and they had their own count down at 8.30pm which ended off with beautiful confetti fireworks.

Jude's  tent all set up at the event - we were planing on staying longer and Jude was going to sleep in the tent, but we ended up leaving sooner.

Jude's bed all set up in his tent.

The biggest cotton candy ever!

We took our parents to go punting on the river - but my mom-in-law was a but nervous, so we ended up having coffee at the restaurant by the river, which was beautiful.

Jude had a kids platter - looked yum.

We shared wedges with coffee - so good!

We saw a bungee thingy and Jude was so excited (and nervous) to go on it - but he loved it!

We ended off with picking our own Raspberries - Jude was busy eating a real fruit ice-cream while picking - so delish I tell u.
