My week in Pictures...

I gave my bathroom a little something extra. Needed some storage next to the bath. The shelves only cost me $10 on special. That's a bargain.
In the afternoon after work we decided to take a walk to the park as it was super sunny and hot.
My lovely husband went to work late on Tues and we got to have breakfast together which was awesome. We had bacon, eggs and mushroom on toast. Don't forget the coffee :)
The weekend we were driving to the shops and we saw a heart in the sky. How beautiful.
We made bags of sweets for halloween on Wed. So each child gets a bag instead of taking uneven amounts as we all know how that goes :)
Had dinner at a new restaurant. Their food was yummy and affordable. We'll be going back there often. I had the Vegetable Lasagna with fries and salad.
Jude playing with the a friendly fish in my aunts pond.
Kisses from my boy. Can't get enough kisses from him!
I scored a bag with a manicure set inside for only $5. The nail polishes inside were cheap and horrible of course, but I filled the bag with my collection of nail polishes. Now I have everything in one bag!
My nail polishes in the bag.
Lunch at work. Tuna salad with coffee of course.
Tried something new with dinner. Bacon wrapped chicken with vegetable pasta and asparagus. It did not disappoint and I will be making it again soon!
Had a beautiful moon rise yesterday evening - yes it's a moon rise. Stunning!

My week in Pictures...

Mr handsome got a haircut, He thinks he's super cool now.
Got a new phone cover which I love - because it's pink! makes me happy every time I see it.
Got a new pair of glasses for FREE - just had to pay for shipping and of course I love them!
Attempted to organise my cupboard!
Very happy with the end result! I now officially wear everything in my cupboard! And discovered I love stripes :)
All the clothes I got rid of.
Just after I hung up washing, it started to hail! Then 10 mins later it was sunny again thank goodness!
Had lunch with my sister and aunt on Saturday! Avo and slow roasted tomatoes on sourdough bread. yum-ee
Bought a new top which I love - perfect for summer! Lace and stripes.
Had a really nice family day out - traveled 40 mins to a market that was quite small but their food was delicious. I had a bacon and cream cheese bagel - oh yeah.
They had the cutest Alpacas there - this one was fascinated with Jude - couldn't stop staring at him haha.
Then we ended our busy weekend with having our whole family over for a BBQ.

Saw this on the internet and decided to give it a try for my lil' man. It turned out pretty good and he loved it. Plus it was super fun and easy :)

Stuck the spaghetti through the sausages, then boiled it until the spaghetti was done.
And we have a yummy creative meal.

So I am loving my new home. Starting to get into decorating it now. I bought a roll of chalk paper to stick somewhere and I thought I was going to use it in Jude's room - but because it was quite long and thin, I found the perfect place for it...on the kitchen cupboard. I've always loved that cafe feel in a kitchen and this definitely adds to that. I've done a step by step on how I added it and the final result... P.S. I LOVE it and it's proven to be extremely functional by adding groceries needed and up coming events.

This is my cupboard before.
I put the paper at the height I wanted it...
...then I drew a line to work off (if you can see it).
After that I cut the length I wanted and followed t he blocks at the back which made cutting it even easy.
(no picture)

Then I folded over the first piece to start pulling off.
I stuck the sticky bit along my pen mark, then I started pulling down the back paper.
I would pull the back paper down maybe 10cm at a time, then stop to smooth out the bumps - I pushed the bumps to the bottom where the air could get out.
It got easier to pull down the backing paper the longer it got.
And the result.
